Trevor Ware & Positive People

Description

Trevor Ware & Positive People is a group of veteran jazz musicians playing original improvisational music. Based in Los Angeles, the band was formed in 2024 by Grammy-winning jazz bassist Trevor Ware, initially as a way to realize compositions created during the pandemic. The first year was about refining members and compositions. That was the year we developed our composition & sound. The band played local gigs in 2025 and began recording in late 2025 to support their plan to release a single each month in 2026. Closing in on their goals for 2026 the band has an ambitious plan to release 2 full CDs in the first half of 2027 along with social media marketing support. One of the CDs is planned as a compilation of the 2026 releases entitled, “Where We’re From”. The band is currently arranging for their next project which is a tribute to the Jazz Crusaders.
